Deteriorating battery on Dell Vostro

Hi all

I have a Dell Vostro 1000 and recently it's battery life has really deteriorated. Before I could get approx 2 hours on a full charge, now its about 1 hour

I only charge when necessary and let the battery run down so I don't think its due to my usage.

Is there anything I can do to improve it?

how many times a month do you have to charge

the more you have running the quicker you drain the battery[start menu application open ]

Nope. You've done all you can by letting it run down and only charge when you need to. My vostro battery will only last about 30 mins now. Unless you get the 9 cell one which juts out the back the 3 cell and 6 cell don't perform that well and are notorious for deteriorating quick quickly.

Completely to my netbook which lasts 6.5hrs
