Good morning,

I seem to recall reading a post previously where the poster was building/having had an extension built for a disabled person and seem to recall there were some changes/relaxations to the regs but not sure...

Can anyone point me to a document that refers to this?

Also does it only apply for those who are registered disabled with specific disabilities?

Thanks for any pointers in advance!

There are no specific relaxations. I am not sure what relaxations you think would need to be made that were not allowed for within the regs anyway.

Or are you recalling that the Local Authority fees can be waived? If so then they can if the works are being undertaken solely to provide for a disabled person. Evidence may be required to substantiate the claim.

I was thinking more in terms of space you are able to extend etc, but actually i think it was most likely that the planning fee was waived :S
