hi guys i have just aquired a new dewalt combi drill used once off my father in law and was wondering what the sequence is to charge the battries ,what i mean is i put them in and they flash red and after a bit the red light is continuous even if i leave it all night ,does it turn green or is the continous red light on mean its charged p.s it the 60 min charger

Look at the little pictures on the charger - IIRC slow flashing is charging, continuous is charged, rapid flashing is a broken battery
 
as the little picture shows 50/50 on off red light battery us

33/66 on off battery charging

light constant fully charged

shows in the instruction book and on the battery/charger :D :D ;)

cheers ,i understood the pics but with no manual i wasnt sure if the light went to green like on my makita drills

I have dewalt 18v cordless tools and as woody said the flashing red light means battery is charging and a solid red light indicates battery is charged.On my charger which is a 15min charger,it beeps when the battery is charged.
