DHW but no CH - Ferroli Optima 1001

I have an intermittent fault where i can get HW, but the CH is now almost non exsistant.

The CH now only works if i run the HW tap for a few minutes, it then fires up the CH after a couple of minutes. However, it can't maintain the heating and will only work again if you run the tap again.

Someone i spoke to suggested it may be the Temperature sensor on the CH side needs replacing.

Is this likely to be the problem or something else? Any help greatfully welcomed.

The LEDS are not showing. I read one of Ferroli's online manuals and it refers to them for diagnostics, but unless i'm missing something their not illuminated!

the transformer on the pcb has an overheat cut out
if this trips the leds go out
turn the boiler off for 20 mins

there quite bright you would know if they were on.

Tried switching off the boiler for 1/2 hour, but the LEDs still not on. Any other suggestions?

Finally got the LEDs working, the board plug had come out!

The LEDs are reading 1 & 3.

Any ideas?
