When I run the water from upstairs the boiler doesnt start up. If I run it from downstairs it does.

Had a callout to one of these this morning, leaking diverter valve, previous engineer (loose term) had tried to stop it by using silicon and tissue, stayed dry long enough for him to get out of the house with his money.
