Diffrent name for LV cable in diffrenet EU /standandrs

Dear All

I am aware that
-BS/EC standard use different name for LV cabel e.g xlpe/lsf/sws
-NBN Belgium use XVB-F2, XFVB-F2 or the like
-VDE germany use N2YY, NYY, etc

Does anyone have the link where we could have the comparablity table to easily recognised their comparability in different names ?.

German and other euro countrys if i remember correctly

NYY cable is a round PVC rigid cable suitable for fixed installations (germans version of T+E) lovely stuff sT+E look as bad as it is!

YY is what we normally refer to as pvc flex but is usually higher quality!

SY is steel braided flex

CYY is copper braided flex

Lapp cables must have a web site and might have the answers your looking for?
