There have been so many questions (and some good answers) on here ref the procedure to wire a Digistat in place of an old dial type that I thought I would add my experience to aid those who do a search for the correct procedure.
I have just exchanged a Honeywell T6360B here for a Drayton Digistat 3 here.
The Honeywell had 4 wires connected as follows:
Red to 1 (live)
Blue to 2 (neutral)
Yellow to 3 (switched live)
Earth
The Digistat is connected as follows:
Red to 1
Yellow to 3
Blue & Earth taped off as not required.
All is working fine. I hope this helps somebody.
