Digital Programming Unit

Hi All,

I have a british gas RC1 thermostat in the hall and a receiver in the airing cupboard next to the boiler. Unfortunately, the boiler does not have a timer so I can only control the temperature from the themostat and I can't set the boiler to turn on or off at specific times. My question simply is can I add a digital programming switch to the set-up? Also, which one can I use and is it a simply job?
