digital shower - how much work is invloved to install

We have gravity fed system and awful shower pressure. We really want this rectified but unsure of the best option.

I am thinking either a shower pump or a couple of digital pumped showers.

Does anyone have any experience with these two? Partoicually interested in the amount of mess / upheaval involved as I don't really want to re-tile.
