digital TV switchover/off warning

I bought a digital TV in 2000 and another in 2003, the switchover was yesterday. No BBC at all now. Yes I did re-tune it. phoned Panasonic today and they said the early digital TV sets won't work after the switchover. They have offered me £80.00 to buy set top boxes. A set top box turns the signal back to analogue. So after years of digital I now have to watch analogue or buy new TV's

Watch it on iplayer in glorious digital (assuming you have a digital monitor connected via a digital lead)
