dilemma with vw polo

Hi ,my polo makes a knock noise from the front shock when I go over a bump . I booked it in to get looked at (1 year warranty left) . the thing is over the last 2 days there hasn't been a noise do I cancel or still take it in with no noise ?

Take the car in to the dealer, and make sure that your concern is noted (the chances are they won't find anything - its difficult to find a fault that has disappeared).
At least, they are required to investigate until the warranty period has expired.

If it does it again make a recording of the noise, I expect a mobile phone would do it.
