I wanted to fit a dimmer at one end of a 3way circuit (3 switches control the same light - currently 2x 2 way & 1x intermediate) in my hall and stairs, but is there a way of doing it so that the lights can be dimmed from all points rather than a dimmer on just one point? Just thinking, could be dangerous if dimmed right down and you're at the non dimmer switch end of the hall in the dark!

The answer (proof) is in the question.
But it's not though is it, because I've asked if there's a way to control the dimming at each switch!??

Varilight master dimmer and 2 slaves.....job done :) Oh.. and the dimmers are set up so that when they are 'right down', there will still be light with which to see....

Possibly, if when you tap the switch the lights come on so dimly that you can't see but you don't have the brains to increase the brightness before heading down the stairs.

Not a risk which I would consider, because I wouldn't be so stupid as to not increase the brightness using the switch I was at.

You, OTOH....
