A few weeks before Xmas I posted about a problem with 7 down lights and the fact that they didn't always come on or were very slow in lighting up. I had checked the loft and made sure that the insulation wasn't covering the lights but they still weren't working. After receiving advice from alert electrician I replaced my dimmer switch 250w with a 400w dimmer and now they work perfectly.
