Want to put a dimmer switch in 1 bedroom but I've never fitted a dimmer switch to an led light before and after reading up I'm even more confused. People are now talking about leading and trailing edges and minimum wattages. I know I need to get a specific dimmable led bulb.
I've seen these on Screwfix. Would they be compatible??

Any other suggestions

Recommend you buy a varilight pro dimmer as they reliably tend to work on all light types.
But are annoyingly expensive.

Varilight seems to have a good name, but for a simple bulb lamp I would use a smart bulb, the TP-link (Tapo) do bulbs and buttons that can be configured to do far more than a dimmer switch.

A LED non smart bulb will not change colour temperature or colour, you need a smart bulb to do that, so a smart bulb gives a better ambiance to a dimmer switch.
