I am hoping that there are some dimplex experts to help me.
I installed some DuoHeat Storage Heaters (the n range) about 2.5 years ago. The system uses MBS and has worked well once we got over the initial teething problems which needed site attendance from Dimplex.
About two weeks ago the customer said she came down one morning the the heater was very hot and the LED display was not working - no lights at all and it did not respond to any key presses.
I replaced the USER INTERFACE MODULE and it was still dead.
I then replaced the CHARGE CONTROL MODULE PCB. All the LEDs came on. I ran the diagnostic and 3rd Red LED was flashing which is a "Radiant Panel temperature fault".
Two Questions.
1. Does anybody know if the all the LEDs flashing has any significance?
2. Does diagnostic result mean the front panel needs to be replaced, as I believe the temp sensor for the panel is in panel itself?
