Diplomat ADP 8242

I have a diplomat ADP 8242 and the cycles last a very long time. I used to set a cycle when I went to bed and it would be well and truely finished when I got up. Now all of the cycles last over 8 hours. Any suggestions on how could sort this problem myself?? Much appreciated.
