Hi, doors have been sent way to get dipped and stripped. Now I’m looking for a step be step guide for what to do when we get them back please?
Do we hang them before we oil/stain them? Or after?
Also any recommendations for an oil/stain that will keep the pine quite light?
Thanks!

I got the dippers/strippers to apply a natural wax product to four pine doors a few years ago. Far less hassle for me, but not cheap IIRC. The big advantage is they can go straight back into place with minimal handling. I now just apply a liquid wax spray from time to time.

Mine came back damp/wet. I hung them, let them dry out, sanded them and applied a brush-on wax coating. It gave a nice sheen without being too shiny or going dark. Mine weren't pine tho, they were some type of harder wood but I can't remember what.
