Disabling log on

Hi

I'm running windows XP and would like to disable having 2 people log on each time windows starts.

Can anyone help as we don't have any need for logging on anymore?

Hi

You can manage the user accounts in Start>Control Panel>Users.

You can then delete an account that you no longer use (NOTE: you will lose data e.g. my documents for that account)

I think that's what you're after

Are you actually wanting to bypass the Welcome screen altogether? The one where the users names come up, you click on it to log on and then have to input a password?

If so, you need to go into Control Panel>User Accounts>Change the way users log on and off and then uncheck the Welcome screen box and the Fast User switching, then apply options.
