Disc removel

Hi folks, i need to replace the pads and discs on my 53 plate transit, have possestion of the new parts, and i have the ability to change them over, done on previous vehicles with out a drama, but am stuffed if a can get the bolts loose on this time, any hints tips or shortcuts? tried briefly tonight with just a standard socket and no joy.

Try heat or plus-gas.

RWD Transit?
Presumably you have the hub off, and can hold the disc in a vice? Use a hex drive socket plus a long breaker bar - the bolts will move. Some heat on the bolts releases the locking compound.

cheers, will get try again tomorrow with the aid of a blow torch

soak in WD40 overnight, then use a hex socket and long bar, they should move with a quick jerk.
