Hello,

I have a dishwasher I need to disconnect and whilst I know what steps I need to take, I’m having trouble figuring out how to disconnect it from the water mains. I haven’t been able to find any videos which have the same connection as mine and this isn’t really something I want to do trial and error with. If someone could have a look at the pictures I’ve attached and let me know how to disconnect it properly that would be great.

Thank you

The handle is missing from the small brass shank, turn it a quarter turn with pliers, which is off, and loosen the large nut on the dishwasher hose.

Hi Denso,

I used pliers to turn the shank (I assume that's the small circular thing in the first picture) but it wouldn’t stop turning, is that right or should it be stopping eventually?

It just turns 90 degrees so its showing across the pipe instead of inline.
