Hi Fellas,
Not sure if this is in the correct forum but here goes. Can anyone recommend a cheap kitchen supplier to supply only, im looking to fit my kitchen myself. Have had quotes from B&Q and Wickes. Iknow what size units i want and would like something in a Gloss White finish. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Where in the north west are you?

I use Magnet Trade for my cabinets, They're as cheap as B&Q but there is no comparison when it comes to quality. They're 18mm, come ready assembled and are really strong. Available in white and birch/beech, with standard or soft close, both have clip on Blum hinges.

The doors I usally get from TKC in Denton, Manchester. Excellent quality and pretty cheap too, comparable to B&Q again but far superior quality.

I do a lot with both, so get the max discount available, plus far better deals on appliances too.

Depends what you're after really, if you're not after the best quality, I use another place in worsley also. Not as good quality wise, same as B&Q, Homebase etc, probably not as good as Wickes, but seriously cheap!

Thanks very much Thefunkymonkey. I live just outside Warrington. When you say you use Magnet Trade, would that be available to me or just to the trade? Do Magnet have Gloss white available? Just had another couple of quotes one from Signature Kitchens in Wrexham and one from Empourium Kitchens in Wigan, both were dearer than B&q but better cabinets and pre-assembled also.

Hi again Funkymonkey just been on the Magnet Trade site and it seems that it is only available to trade althoughthey do have a trade site and showroom not very far from me. Do you have a price list for their cabinets? Could i send you a pm of what size cabinets i require?

Hi, yes they are trade only.

The gloss white slab range is called Aspen, but it's one of their pricier ranges and would be around 50-100% dearer than your B&Q quote, assuming the IT range.

Is it the IT/takeaway range or Cooke&Lewis range?

I use TKC for this reason a lot of the time.

They don't do a proper price list, they have a list price, but it's largly meaningless as I'd normally get between 60-75% discount depending upon the range and spend level etc.

PM me a list and i'll get a quote for you.

The more I put through my account, the better the deals and freebies I get in future, so I'd be happy to do it for you!

I'm not sure if my local branch would deliver that far(stockport), you could collect if poss, or maybe order it through Warrington branch.

Either way, I'd just set up the order for you and you'd just nip in and pay/collect, or have it delivered.

You'd need to collect the doors though, they will deliver anywhere but I don't think it's cheap

I bought mine from M&S Kitchens in Manchester, good quality blockboard carcasses and not bad price, and they deliver. I dont know exactly where they are but they have a website.
