Dishwahser help

Hi, Hope somebody can give me some advice, my SMEG dishwahser stopped working mid cycle. It now has no power.
I have checked wall plug/fuse etc and tried an other appliance in the same socket and it is fine.

The door connector works so I do not think it is that. I will like to now how I start to fix and work out what the trouble might be as I cannot afford to get an engineer out.

I hope somebody has soe advice for me. Thank you

hi ,so you have tried another appliance in the wall socket ,and that worked OK ? have you then checked the plug and fuse on the dishwasher for loose connections and blown fuse ? you then inspect the cable length from plug all the way to dishwasher ,for signs of damage. any further checking has to be done inside the appliance and requires electrical testing meter and a good degree of technical knowledge ,which unfortunately ,if you don't have, you may have to bring someone in.
