Dishwasher DWF 417 Philips Broken

Please can anyone help....

Our Philips Whirlpool DWF 417 will not work.

When you turn it on it makes a really loud continuous noise (similar to the one it makes when drying) it then makes noise as if water is going in. Then after a few minutes it beeps 5 times and then continues to make the noise until you open it. On opening the five led is lit permanently (intensive cycle) and the first led is flashing (pre-rinse).

Can anyone help...

From the description of the error code I think you've got a Smeg built machine, badged Whirlpool.
The aquastop has detected a leak. Water has leaked into the base.
