Dishwasher fills but won't start

Hi there,

The dishwasher in question is a SERVIS M416. It worked fine for about a year but now its started to play up. It seems nothing happens within the cycle i.e. at start of cycle old water gets flushed out, new water gets sucked in, element heats up but nothing else happens so we get no distribution or spinning of fans.
Any ideas ? I think the water pump and heating element are all ok as they seem to function.
