Rinse aid has anti foaming ingredients,try pouring a capfull into machine before use.Another method is to try placing a bar of soap on upper basket and running machine.Both methods should be used under supervision in case foaming occurs.
Buckets of cold water ! Seriously, you need to rinse out the machine with cold water - also rinse out spray arms etc. Then drain machine - start a prog - wait till initial pump out stops,and before fill starts, stop the programme then rinse it out again!
Then run a cold programme with no detergent - should cure the problem.
May need to reset the programme - probably a couple of buttons to depress to do this - probably 2nd and 4th prog buttons if you have them - keep them pushed in for a few seconds and machine should cancle the prog.
