I recently replaced a Bosch integrated dishwasher with a newer model that is secured to the adjoining units by two screws at the top sides of the machine. Everything was fine for a few months, but recently the dishwasher has been moving in and out of position when the door is opened or closed, and it looks like the securing screws have become loose.

I'm think that this might have been caused by the screws being screwed into the same holes as the ones used by the old machine, which isn't giving enough grip into the units it is attached to.

I'm thinking that a possible option would be to drill through the sides of the joining units and use stainless steel bolts to secure the machine in place. Does this seem like a good solution, or are there any other options I could try?

You can use superglue and matches to fill the old holes. Then use a chisel to remove the ends of the matches. Then push the dishwasher back and pilot drill a new a hole.

BTW, I am assuming that you are talking about holes drilled through the side of the dishwasher.
