Has anyone done their own DIY Hot Tub using a 1000L IBC container as seen on YouTube etc. Costs being lower than the Fibreglass type and longer lasting than the improvised paddling pools with pumps and jets.

Be interested of how they constructed theirs and what they used for Water/Air jets and pumps etc. Also of how their seating was fixed in the container.

Most seem to use Wood fires for heating rather than Electric and off the shelf filters/pumps for cleansing of the water.

Have you ever stood next to a 1,000l IBC? 2 adults could barely STAND next to each other, never mind sit down and relax in that space.
Have just looked at one on YT and it really is a 'Hill Billy' project where they cut gas cylinders apart to make the heating appliance!
You are risking life and limb, (not to mention spending £££'s on the ancillary equipment), not just of yourself but your family and friends who dare use it.
Be sensible and buy a manufactured one with a 12 month guarantee and inbuilt safety devices. You can get a decent one for around £500 and some hold more than 1,000litres.
