If I buy a bifold door online and fit it myself (or get a non FENSA builder to), can a BCO sign it off?

Just be sure to buy from a reputable manufacturer, some rubbish from B&Q or wherever will be no good at providing a spare roller hinge or whatever in six years time.

Whenever I've been asked to look at a bifold and give a quote to put it right it's 9/10 because a builder fitted it
