Our utility room is only 1 brick thick and because of this it is colder than the rest of the house.
Internally is 12.5mm plasterboard attached to noggins which are screwed to the brickwork. I don't want to take the plasterboard down to insert insulation and so wondered if there was a 'DIY' cavity wall insulation technique? Similar to the way they insert the foam into cavity walls.
We've got the same situation (sort of) in the loft conversion where the plasterboard is screwed to the rafters and I don't think there is any insulation behind it!
Many thanks,
Chris
