Don't you just hate it when you take your wifes shoes in to be re-heeled only to find a spotty 16 year old kid with a pair of pliers and a hammer promptly rip out the old heels and bang in the new ones in 2 minutes flat. Then he says "that'll be seven quid mate" GRRRRR.

Seriously though, can you buy these heels from anywhere? must be cheaper doing it yourself.

Practise makes the master, even with these tasks that look o so very simple (until you try them yourself and have the wrath of the 'old-lady' on you for destroying her favorite shoes) :D :D :D :D

New heels on cut-off wellies, never heard of that... £7 !! Expect two pair of shoes for that. :D

Mind you, used Clark's Village Outlet, 3 pairs (1 female pair ) for £78 all in ... sound as a £. ;)

Many moons ago when we was kids, my dad always repaired our shoes, used to buy those stick-on soles and heels and they lasted for years. Never did me mums stilleto's though, perhaps they aren't available.

you can still get them pip, keep looking.
If you manage to get some then just a thought: Stick them directly to the soles of your feet, voila! no need to buy shoes anymore. ;)

I've never fully understood the concept of high-heels.

1) they make the woman taller. Seeing as the average height for a man is something like 5'10", that means that a notable fraction of women will have to either feel left out and wear flats, or wear high-heels and make their man feel short.

2) they are hard to walk in without looking silly. Now, I wouldn't advise this wholeheartedly, but next time you are in a busy street at lunchtime, watch the ankles of women in high-heeled shoes. The majority end up doing some weird sideways-bend thing on every step! seems to be more pronounced if they have fat calfs.

Now, don't get me wrong. I think they look smashing when worn with the right outfit. But from time to time we've all had to piggyback a drunk female along uneven/cobbled streets: what would they do if there wasn't a man to help them?

And who hasn't been to an outdoor party where all the girls have sunk in up to the soles (cheap way to get the lawn aerated ;) )

F the stick-ons, just don't get attached t oshoes is all ! :D

as usual my input will be nothing but Cobblers` Awls

Yeah, and they break off sometimes, as I noticed when the woman who plays Linda Block in dream team ended up leaning on me when her heel broke off during filming!
