Hi there! I'm new to the forum, and i wanted to get some advice.
Several years ago, I helped my parents make an epoxy coated pebble patio for her back yard and the end result was absolutely gorgeous, and held up surprisingly well even through loads of rain (and one earthquake). I'm going to be moving into a place and the yard is so beautifully open and flat, i thought it would be the perfect place to do the same thing.
I can't remember what was used as a base for the original product. Should I lay concrete first? Gravel? Wood planks?
I'm very inexperienced and just now getting into things like DIY yardwork and building, so any advice or tips at all would be much appreciated.
For reference, the house is in Florida, so there WILL be rain. My main concern is the patio sinking or becoming uneven.
