Hi there,
I added a reclaimed fireplace back into our property (the previous owner removed every period feature in the house) and I want to have a go at a very small section of tiling to create a hearth. I have levelled out the floor as much as possible and used 12mm hardboard plywood. Do I need to prime the hardboard before tiling? It won't be walked on, it's about 40cm deep and 90cm wide. Also to add the fireplace is not working, it's for decoration only.
Thanks
