Hi, im doing a DIY garage partition/office (non habitable) and looking for a bit of advice.

I have a single skin wall at the back of the garage, would 3x2 battons, 50mm polysterene and 9 or 12.5mm plasterboard do the trick to insulate the back wall.

Also, im planning on doing the rest of the partition in 3x2, is that enough for partition wall and stud work?

See images and help if you can please!!

Sorry, its not really an office.
PC's will live there and be left running, like a IT/server room. Just want a bit of insulation rather than nothing....

Would kingspan 50mm be a whole lot better than polysterene? I hear there is a cheaper version of Kingspan, any recommendations??

On a bit of a budget so planning on doing the single brick wall first, then berrze block wall, then partition wall & door then wall where access door is.

Then will add the roof (again 3x2, insulate and plasterboard) then might add a floor in last.

If i plan to add a floor, would you recommend be putting down a DPM and maybe laying a temp carpet over the floor at first??

Would this DPM be ok??
