Hi,

New to the forum and bit of a DIY novice / have a go-er.

I am wanting to lay new linoleum flooring in our downstairs loo and wanted some advice about going around the toilet.

Ideally, I want the lino to go under the toilet but with minimum effort (!). I was wondering if I undid the screws holding the pan to the floor, would there be enough give for me to be able to feed the Lino under without having to mess around with the waste pipe?

Also, if I do do this, is it a good idea to seal the bottom of the pan when in place with silicon to stop any water / "accidents" going under the pan?

Many thanks :D

It will take more than 1 person to manage this.
1 to lift the toilet, 1 to slide the lino and apply silicone.
