I've just finished rendering (first time) a bad wall in my back yard, and taking the paint off an adjoining section of rendered wall with a grinding cup...
I did a decent job of both but when the sun shines down at a certain angle it doesn't look great. I'm thinking of putting a texture across the whole lot to hide the imperfections and give everything a matching look.
Can anyone recommend a way of getting a stippled effect that I can then paint? I was considering painting some tanking slurry on with a roller.. or mixing up some runny render with SBR... I don't think I can handle picking up that rendering trowel again for a specialist coating
