Hi

We are replacing our kitchen, including the kitchen floor. Have so far removed 4 old floor layers taking us back to the concrete base, which now leaves about 30mm of depth to the adjoing floor.

The idea was to lay thermal tiles, then electric underfloor heating and then stone/ceramic tiles on top, but I'm now concerned we won't have enough depth. I know the thermal tiles are about 10mm, the top tiles I reckon will be about the the same, but this will only leave 10mm for all screwthe adhesives and heating element.

Is this going to be enough?

Cheers

James

Yeah, it is isn't it.

Think I may be able to play with the levels a bit, and gain an extra 10mm across the floor which should make life a bit more comfortable, losing it across the last metre to the adjoining floor.

What fun.
