Do I need a Landlords gas safety certificate

If I owned a house and planned on renting it out to a family, would I specifically need a Landlord Gas Safety Certificate, if the only gas appliance was the tenants own cooker.

I understand that I need to maintain the gas installation pipework for maintenance purposes, but I am unsure if I need a LGSR for the pipework?

Yeah you still need one just for meter and pipework BG are reasonably priced for just that..
