Just want a sanity check on this...
I've seen various diagrams showing the installation of celotex td4126 etc (~100mm insulation with 5.5mm ply, you know the stuff).
Most of them show it fixed directly to the joists and some of them show it mounted on board.
My question is: mounting the insulation directly on the joists with 400mm centres, will it be okay to walk about on for the purposes of fitting the roofing material. (EPDM by the way).
If that's the case then in terms of cost and construction effort ill be a very happy bunny.
