Hi, im in the middle of building a 30m2 shed. Its a single skin brick construction with piers. The front however i built out of single skin 100mm blocks as im going to clad the front in siberian larch cladding.
I plan on using 2x2 first to batten out the blocks so i can nail the cladding on but my question is...do i need to use a membrane like dupont tyvek housewrap on the front or is it not neccessary for this application.
Eventually internally i plan to stud the walls out and plasterboard if this makes any difference.
Also if i do need a membrane do i need to put it inbetween the blockwork and the 2x2 or, inbetween the cladding and the 2x2.
Thanks in advance.
Matt
