I have a gas leak at the bottom of my oven, it was spraying flames to the floor. The leak was coming from this connector. Is there meant to be seals in it either side? Or can I just use tape? TIA

Get a Gas Safe registered egineer who is qualified to work on domestic ovens to look at and possibly repair your oven.

In the mean time do NOT use it.

In the UK, the number to call for a gas emergency is 0800 111 999. This is a free, 24-hour emergency line. You should call this number if you:
  • Smell gas
  • Suspect a gas leak

Yeah it's in a caravan
I may be very wrong, and if so, I'm sure that I will be corrected - but I believe that touring caravans are outside of the scope of the Gas safety (installation and use) regulations.
However, even though it's outside of scope, the person carrying out any repair work must be 'competent' to do so.
Our replies on this website are also limited by the rules on 'DIY gas'.
I'm afraid, my response would be to isolate and disconnect the oven and seek advice from a competent person - a local caravan/motorhome supplier should hopefully have relevant contacts and/or spare parts.
