Hello,

I am about ready to plasterboard my bathroom, is there a product i can tile directly onto without the need for plastering first?

Thanks

You can tile straight onto plasterboard, but just make sure the boards are securely fixed with no movement or bulges, ie. a straight, secure surface.
Cheaper and fine to do most of the bathroom with plasterboard.

If you want to tile in an area where the tiles are going to get very wet, like a shower, instead of plasterboard, I'd use aquapanels (available from Wickes) instead - can cut them to size with an old saw or deep score with a sharp stanley knife and break. Secure them with screws, can seal joins with mastic, then tile away.
