Hi all
I have recently built an out door office/gym/mancave. The building is concrete block on the outside, brick at the front, 100mm insulation cavity and thermalite blocks on the inside.
My plan is not to render the outside of the building as I don't want to spend anymore money on the project.
My builder has stated a number of times that it will require rendering so that the building doesn't get damp or absorb moisture from outside. Iv seen a number of buildings with out render and I'm wondering if my builder is just saying this for the sake of making money.
My question is does my builder have a point? and if I don't render will it cause me any problems in the long run?
Thanks
