Hi all :) Just put up some tiles up in my new Kitchen and i'm really pleased with them they are Oystser slate mix, about 400 of them, plus 25 each of black glass an stainless steel, the over all effact is great, have used 2 coats of pregnator and 2 coats of sealer, so far only sealed the Hob area so the Hob extractor could go up, not grouted yet. My Daughter fryed an egg and fat went on the tiles, above mentioned beautiful tiles now look hidious. So could do with suggestions please. Should I have done something special or used extra product around Hob Tiles an splash areas? Used HG.

Thanks for any help

Same problem with me, got fed up with it, ended up getting a stainless steel plate behind the hob and just wipe it now. I got it from Ikea in kitchen dept, they're very cheap for stainless steel. It just fitted under the wall unit.

You can get toughen glass backing type so you can still see the tiles.

Good... Good... Good I like it.That al work well, hob is stainless with a glass canopy, so yeh thanks for that. The remover I used has worked really well so gonna try Mn Slate Seal on the rest of tiles its worth a try... unless you know different.
