Do we bet there are tiles here?

While lazily fitting a washing machine in the new house (Victorian terrace) I accidentally ruined the horrible Lino in the kitchen floor, further investigation shows that there are more tiles than I originally thought.

(I thought they were just under the appliances and skirting, they are at least here, and under the cupboards and oven along the edge of the room.

Do I take the plunge and remove all the Lino, instead of cutting a square to replace? It would be great if the old tiles were there! The last two photos are the other side of the room from where the mark is.

Hoping someone worth more experience could convince me to do it!

Kitchen layout might’ve changed so tiles might not cover the whole floor

Took the risk! Should look 1000% better providing there’s no surprises under the leveller!
