HELP
I have a rattling sound in my heating system which seems to be coming from the C/H pump. it only happens when the C/H is on and then it is intermitant. I have tried turning the pump down but it only has limited effect. It stops it for a short period of time (2 mins) and then starts up again
sometimes the noise dosent happen at all and it only seems to happen when the system is warm.
could it be the barings and i need a new pump

Nah, barings went bust in 1993 due to rogue trader, nick leeson, I would contact ING who bought 'em for a pound ;)

the flux of the matter is will it help? I think we should not try and pull the (steel) wool over his eyes, and elbow (joint) this post, I am now off for a T (joint)

oh, i don't know, i had to sweat (joint) for ages untill i came up with that, how ever it was driving me around the (U) bend I was almost at the boil (er) point, but i thought, no (thermo) stat is it.

here is one for you.

why is a boiler called a boiler, since if it does boil, you are in trouble

Like radiators don't radiate.. they're convecting devices ? Sorry , I'll pipe down.

who said you can open your valve? , oh last one out shut the gate (valve) and the first one that says "ballcocks"
