hi can anyone help we have just bought a house and have just found that to open the patio door you must lift the back end up and shuffle4 it backwards! does anyone know what the problem may be?
Is it a sliding or hinged one? If sliding, it might be there is a a dip on the rail that the wheels slide on, or maybe just some accumulated grit.
there may be a better way but I find it is necesary to wash the dirt out of the channel and rail, I use detergent and hot water in a watering can, and run the door back and forth to loosen the dirt, and keep pouring to wash it away.
