Does anyone get paid?

There are very regular faces on this site with zillions of posts, surely they can't be driving a van and grafting during the day to get all these posts in?

Also, do you get paid for all this question answering...does the wife not also want to use the PC for shopping(mine does)...kids playing games on it???
Have you actually met each other and drank barrels of beer and made jokes about this website?

Yep, I work 8am - 5pm Mon to Fri...... and get paid. There's a fair amount of time during the day that I can spend doing other things though.

Hi, I'm a DIYnot widow. Mr Secure goes out 8-5 or 6, then comes home and spends the evening giving you lot free advice. The kids have forgotten what he looks like. Online shopping? Your missus is lucky! I'm only allowed on the computer to help Mr Secure do his work Powerpoints.

changed light fittings today struggled at first got it all wired up and nothing until i came across this site and hey presto prayers were answered and now the wife believes in me. Before this she thought i was useless at diy there again so did i. But with getting made redundant diy is becoming second nature well done al and thanks again.[/b]
