Does anyone know if this Handle is fixable? Pics incl.

Hi guys,

Our backdoor patio (backdoor) handle has progressively been getting worse. anytime someone pulls in the door to close, the handle will come off (shown in one of the photos). All we can do right now is jiggle it back in. the door is either a double glazed or triple glazed glass panels.
Is there any chance I can fix the handle?

If not, can anyone identify the handle for me and link me to any sites that would have the same one?.

any help is appreciated

Hello Niall, I'm not 100% if you can repair those, if nobody on here answers this then try these https://www.locksonline.co.uk/UPVCHandles.html and you should get an answer. Failing that you can replace the whole thing, unscrew the 2 screws, and pull them off. Measuring the handle to lock distance. See link.

Hi Niall, don’t bother trying to fix it. Get a replacement for £30.. fitting is very easy simply remove existing screws remove old handles and simple slide new ones back over the existing locking system and refit. To measure the handle size you require is the distance between the two holding screws. No need to change locks . Hope this helps.

So there is no problem with the locks or anything?
When we close the door, we have to push the handle up to ensure its closed properly. Is this normal? Will a new handle solve the problem?

No that’s normal to click the handle up it’s locking the lever lock system on the door.

Hi Niall, just a quick tip put wd40 on the locking system including the handles frees them up if there a little stiff or tight.
