Let me first say that this thread is NOT about knocking anyone's belief or religion and hopefully it won't go that way.
The reason I'm asking is about a specific text that I can't remember the wording of or the source.
Some time ago I came across a illustration of a garden with vines , flowers and I think cabbage too , all pretty and abundant but with a snail in one corner. The text , which was in Latin , translated to something along the lines of God creating all this glory but also creating corruption ( i.e. the snail) in order to keep us on our toes for want of a better term. I had told this to a friend who has asked me to reproduce it on a small wooden box. Now , frustratingly , I can't find the illustration and as I can't remember the exact wording it makes searching an equally frustrating and fruitless exercise .I've asked others with no avail so thought it wouldn't hurt to ask here , just in case someone can help me.
