Hi, does anyone know what these switches are? I have a few on the second floor. Thank you.

They are very old Fused Connection Units. May have been used for electric heating at some time in the past.

Thank you - so I am guessing it would be ok to remove provided I follow the standard safety precautions? There are no electric heating units.

If they are connected to the daytime supply, you could convert them to sockets.
